Bruce Holden lives in Collinsville, Oklahoma, with his wife and family.  This location allows for easy access to the many types of wood that are available in Northeast Oklahoma.  This is important because 99 percent of his product is made with re-cycled, re-purposed, or re-used wood that otherwise would be left to rot, be burned, or go to the chipper.

The fact that he is relatively new to wood turning makes the finding and gathering of wood one of the most interesting parts of the process.  The exposure of the wood grain when cut open can hold many surprises.  He might find a beautiful and complicated wood grain pattern, or he might find a rotten spot that makes it unusable, he just never knows until he cuts into it.  Sometimes it seems like every day working with wood is Christmas.
