Artist Statement
The process of knotting is simple, versatile, flexible and direct. It requires no specialized equipment and certainly no lengthy and exacting period of training.
The process is continuance of tying one knot after another, either the same knot or a different one. Any flexible linear material is a suitable medium.
The process allows for a multitude of expressions, from tapestry-like representative images, decorative designs/patterns to sculptural forms of any size, configuration and subject matter.
