Access 108: Art Without Barriers
At 108|Contemporary, we believe the arts should be for everyone. Access 108 is our commitment to removing barriers—whether physical, financial, sensory, or geographic—so all members of our community can engage meaningfully with contemporary craft.
Through this initiative, we provide:
-
Free gallery admission for all visitors
-
ASL interpretation at public events
-
Tactile touch stations to engage visitors with low vision or sensory needs
-
Virtual exhibition tours, artist talk recordings, and hands-on video tutorials—perfect for those facing transportation or mobility challenges
-
Craft kits that bring creative experiences directly to schools, community centers, and homes
-
Partnerships with organizations like Tulsa Community College’s “I Can’t” Workshop Series and Any Given Child to reach diverse audiences, including students, older adults, and individuals with disabilities
By prioritizing inclusion and accessibility at every level of programming, Access 108 ensures that art remains a powerful tool for connection, creativity, and community across Tulsa and beyond.
We provide curated group tours. For more information, please contact Laurel Ryan at laurel@108contemporary.org.
